1:50 – Duo D’Enfer – 10/1 @ Bet365 – The selection shaped with a bit of promise when a 17 ½ length 6th of 13 to The Edgar Wallace here 25 days ago on stable debut. The ex-French trained 10-year-old shaped like he was worth a go at 3m that day and with the yard having had a couple of winners at Sedgefield yesterday can do better here.
3:00 – Escapeandevade – 11/2 @ Ladbrokes & Sky Bet – Showed promise at this meeting on chase debut 12 months ago and backed that up when making all to win at Ayr on his next start. Needs to bounce back from a couple subpar performance at the end last season but he looks the sole pace angle and a return to his Ayr form makes him an intriguing contender.
