Today’s selections are from Salisbury and Kempton.
Salisbury
4:40 – Baltic Voyage – 11/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Returned from a gelding operation and shaped like the run was needed on handicap debut when a 6 ¼ length 8th of 11 to Chesspiece at York last month. Strong in the betting that day (5/1) and that suggests connections think he’s on a winnable mark if he stays 1m 4f.
Kempton
7:20 – Golden Passport – 13/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A winner at Wolverhampton last autumn the 3-year-old hasn’t built on that success on two starts since switched to handicap company although there was more to like about his 4 ¾ lengths 6th of 13 at Newmarket (7f) last month. The return to a mile looks a plus and he’s got to be respected.
