Today’s selections are from Lingfield and Ludlow.
Lingfield
1:35 – Julia Augusta – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The 4-year-old has returned from a short break in decent form and posted a career on RPR’s when a neck 2nd of 9 in a Kempton handicap (1m) 16 days ago. Just 1lb higher here and the step up to 1m 2f could suit.
Ludlow
1:25 – Laskalin – 5/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won this corresponding race 12 months ago, from 3lb lower. Ran well for a long way when 6th of 11 at Carlisle on seasonal reappearance. He should be spot on fitness wise and will be there or thereabouts.
2:35 – Ostrava Du Berlais – 11/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Weak in the market when pulling up at Wincanton on her first start for 13 months at Wincanton last month. The ex-French trained mare is surely better than she was able to show last time.
