Today’s selections are from Leopardstown.

6:50 – No Niki No – 11/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won a C&D handicap here two starts back before finding the drop back to 7f an inadequate stamina test when a 3¼ lengths 5th of 11 to Aussie Girl at the Curragh 20 days ago. The mare got a good front running ride when winning here in June and given there doesn’t look to be much pace on her, seems likely to get the run of the race once more.
7:25 – Alfred Munnings – 4/1 @ bet365 & Ladbrokes – Had looked a nice juvenile prospect when winning on his racecourse debut last season but was a disappointing beaten favourite in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot. Off for 12 months and it looked like the run was needed when an 11 length 3rd of 5 in a Group 3 at the Curragh 19 days ago. He should be sharper today and is capable of more improvement. This will be his first start on ground worse than good but I’m hoping he’ll be ok on it.
