Nice to get the new month started with a couple of winners. Today’s selections are from Wincanton and Chelmsford.
Wincanton
1:30 – Fame And Fun – 3/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Got off the mark at the fourth attempt when winning on handicap debut at Taunton in December. The 6-year-old looked to have a bit in hand that day so a 6lb rise in the weights looks workable and he’s open to further improvement.
Chelmsford
6:00 – Voltaic – 7/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The 7-year-old is on a fourteen long losing run but shaped last time like he’s turn might be near when a 1 ¼ lengths 4th of 12 at Kempton (6f). The return to 7f will suit and Rossa Ryan takes over from an amateur today. Handicapped to go close if all the cards fall right.
