2:40 – Captains Nephew – 9/4 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection got off the mark at the third attempt over fences when winning a Clonmel novices handicap chase three weeks ago. His jumping was sound and there was plenty to like about the way he went through the heavy ground at Clonmel. Open to further improvement and his trainer had a winner here on Wednesday.
