Today’s selections are from Newcastle and Taunton
Newcastle
1:40 – Dare To Shout – 9/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Looked to have improved for summer wind surgery when making a winning seasonal return at Hexham in October. It might pay to forgive his well beaten 8th of 8 at Aintree last time when running as if something was amiss.
Taunton
2:40 – Samuel Spade – 9/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Twice a winner as a juvenile the selection returned from a 7 month break with an encouraging 9 length 4th of 10 at Kempton 17 days ago. He should be sharper for that run and can go well.
3:15 – Can You Call – 11/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Jumped nicely when a ¾ length 2nd of 11 on seasonal reappearance Chepstow 44 days ago. He’s 5lb higher is a similar race but is more than capable of winning over the larger obstacles.
