Today’s selections are from Naas & Ffos Las.
Naas
11:40 – Ardera Ru – 7/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won twice over hurdles in a productive campaign last season and won on the third attempt over fences at Thurles on her seasonal return 24 days ago. The mare had a bit in hand that day so a 9lb rise in the weights looks workable and she’s the pick.
2:35 – Fil Dor – 7/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won on chase debut last season. However, he didn’t build on that effort on two further starts over the large obstacles and although he did win a Grade 3 over hurdles at Gowran Park in February he was well below par on his final two starts over timber. The 5-year-old remains with potential over fences and trainer Gordon Elliott does have his horses in scintillating form.
Ffos Las
2:25 – Ballydisco – 5/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection improved for the step up to 3m winning two of his last three starts over C&D and at Chepstow in April. Capable of better this season and the 6-year-old is of interest if ready to roll on his first start for 198 days ago.
