If you haven’t had an enough racing for the week ITV4 are covering eight races live from Sky Bet Sunday Series card at Pontefract latter this afternoon. It’s a competitive card as you would expect for a Sky Bet Series card and one, where a dabble at the placepot could pay dividends.

4:15 – Shimmering Sands – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Shimmering Sands third here over a mile on seasonal debut went two places better when beating five rivals at Doncaster over today’s trip 22 days ago. Up 6lb demands more but he’s going the right way and one to keep on the right side despite a wide draw in stall 10.
5:15 – Adamaris – 6/1 @ Coral & Ladbroke – Adamaris improved for the step up to 2m when winning twice at Dundalk for his previous yard. Has his first start for new trainer Adrian Keatley and looks to be on a workable mark for a yard that is 5-13 in the past 14-days.
6:45 – Ghathanfar – 17/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection won three times last year including this race last year. He also went onto win at York on his next start. Now 1lb below his last winning and whilst stall 10 isn’t ideal the 7-year-old is very effective on good to firm and if he can get a good position early should go close.
