Today’s selections are from Fairyhouse and Plumpton.
Fairyhouse
4:55 – Appreciate It – 9/2 – Gen – Mighty Potter was a disappointing third when the 4/6 favourite for the Turners Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham. Of the six Willie Mullins trained runners Paul Townend has opted for the selection who was one place and ½ length behind Mighty Potter in the Turners. He was ridden well of the pace that day which wasn’t the place to be. I’m hoping he’s ridden more positively here and if he is he then he could surprise the favourite.
Plumpton
4:50 – Churchills Boy – 5/1 @ Bet365 – Won a C&D maiden in December and followed up under a penalty at Fontwell the following month. Failed to give his running (pulled up) when sent off just 17/2 for the valuable EBF Final at Sandown last month. Worth chancing that he can bounce back to form in this company.
