Today’s selections are from Newmarket.

1:40 – Crystal Delight – 9/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Got of the mark at Lingfield in December on his first start since switching form the Sir Michael Stoute yard and showed he remained in good form with runner-up efforts at Newcastle and Lingfield. He’s unexposed after just two starts on turf and capable of better.
5:15 – Ferrous – 9/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A winner on ground maiden at Doncaster on the final day of the flat season and wasn’t disgraced when nose 2nd of 7 at Southwell on his return to action last month. He ran better on his handicap debut than his 4 ¾ length 6th of 14 over C&D last time suggests. Being far too keen in a prominent position, in a race that suited those coming from off the pace and he’s worth another chance in a handicap like this.
