Today’s selections are from Cheltenham.
Cheltenham
12:05 – An Bradan Feasa – 5/4 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Comes into the race with best form having finished a 6 ½ length 2nd of 11 to Burdett Road in a Grade 2 here at the last meeting. Granted he got his way out in front last time, but he’s lightly raced and capable of more progress.
12:40 – Everything’sontick – 8/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Made a successful transition to chasing when beating six rivals at Leicester (2m 6 ½ f) 26 days ago. The runner-up won at Sandown last Friday, so the form looks decent enough. The 7-year-old is 4lb higher in a better race but is open to further improvement for the step up to 3m+.
1:15 – In Excelsis Deo – 2/1 @ Bet365 – Won on stable/chase debut at Hereford last December. He didn’t really kick on from that performance on four subsequent starts last season but there was plenty to like about his 2 ½ length 3rd of 11 to Dancing On My Own here (2m) in October. The runner-up has since won and the fourth finished runner up in the Paddy Power, so the form looks solid. The 5-year-old has only had five starts over fences and he won’t be fazed by soft ground.
