Today’s selections are from Huntingdon & Galway.
Huntingdon
2:25 – Storminhome – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won a Doncaster maiden hurdle in January and ran with credit on two subsequent starts in novice hurdle company in the spring. He’s got the size to do much better over fences than hurdles. If he takes to the larger obstacles than a mark of 120 looks more than workable.
Galway
3:25 – Narlita – 5/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won a heavy ground Bellewstown handicap over the distance two starts back and ran even better on Racing Post Ratings (RPR’s) when a 3 ¼ length 2nd of 16 in a lady amateur riders race at the Curragh 23 days ago. Goes well on testing ground and off the same mark as last time.
4:00 – Jazzy Rock – 100/30 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Ran like she’s on a winnable mark when ½-length 2nd of 21 at Navan (1m 6f) 12 days ago. The drop back to 1m 4f shouldn’t be a problem for the filly on what’s likely to be heavy ground. Nudged up 4lb for her latest effort but useful apprentice takes off a handy 5lb,
