7:15 – Eminency – 3/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A firm ground C&D winner last summer, he’s run well on both this season’s starts including when a length 3rd of 11 at Newmarket 16 days ago. Has been nudged up 1lb but there are handicaps to be won with him this season and he’s the one to beat.
Thirsk
5:35 – Desert Illusion – 9/2 @ Bet365 & Paddy Power – The return to faster ground suited the 3-year-old when a back to form 3 ½ length 2nd of 10 at Bath 10 days ago. Aidan Keeley takes of a handy 5lb, and the filly looks capable of shedding her maiden tag at the ninth attempt.
