8:10 – Eklil – 7/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Eklil wins his fair share of races and was back to winning ways when beating 5 rivals at Lingfield (good to firm) 23 days ago. The 4-year-old has decent course record 1 win from 5 runs, 5 placed and the his yard is 3-7 in the past 14 days. Up 3lb for his Lingfield success but should go well, if in the same form and the ground continues to dry out.
8:40 – Forest Demon – 13/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The 3-year-old has yet to win on turf (0-6) sole success coming at Kempton last August. However, he posted a personal best on the grass when a solid ¾-length third of 8 at Newmarket (1m) 24 days ago. Off the same mark here and the first time cheekpieces are applied for his first run beyond a mile.
