Today’s selections are from Ludlow and Newcastle.
Ludlow
2:00 – Cotton End – 15/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A winner here over hurdles in May 2021. The mare is 0-4 since going chasing but she posted her best performance over the larger obstacles when a 3 length 3rd of 7 over C&D last month. Has been dropped a handy 3lb for that effort and shouldn’t be far away if in the same form.
3:30 – Judicial Law – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A useful hurdler at this level last season, winning twice at Exeter and C&D. The selection has just had two starts this season, both six months apart, but is handicapped to go close if building on his latest effort when 4th of 7 at Exeter 24-days ago.
Newcastle
7:30 – As If By Chance – 5/1 @ Paddy Power & Betfair Sportsbook – Returned from a 168-day break with an encouraging 1 ¾ length 3rd of 12 over C&D 10-days ago. Not the best away he didn’t get the best of passages in the final two furlongs and would have finished closer if he had.
