Today’s selections are from Pontefract and Wolverhampton.
Pontefract
2:30 – Catton Lady – 3/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes –The drop back to 6f and the fitting of the first time visor makes Validated of interest on nursery debut. However, preference is for the selection who won at Carlisle on racecourse debut and bounced back to form last time when a 1 ¼ length 2nd of 12 over C&D 18 days ago. Nudged up 4lb for that effort but looks on a workable mark.
Wolverhampton
7:00 – Protected Guest – 9/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Few horses have a worse head carriage than the selection and you could hardly call him a trustworthy bet. However, he drops in class in here and has dropped 10lb below his last winning mark. If and it’s a big IF, he’s on a going day he can win.
