Today’s selections are from Haydock.
Haydock
3:45 – Prairie Falcon – 5/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection has yet to win in 2023 but went close at Doncaster in July. He did best of those who came from the rear when a 2 ½ length 3rd of 9 at Thirsk three weeks ago. Competitively weighted and the cheekpieces go on for the first time. Handily drawn in stall 5 and should go close.
4:55 – Alpine Stroll – 7/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won twice last season. The 5-year-old has failed to get into the winners circle this time around but has finished runner-up twice this season. Needs to bounce back from a lesser run in a more competitive race at Sandown last time. However, if he does he’s back down to handy mark.
