Today’s selections are from Newbury.
Newbury
3:00 – Martator – 3/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection was beaten 4 ½ length by one of today’s rivals Issar d’Airy two starts back but gets a 14lb pull in the weights. Can go close despite being a six-race maiden over fences.
4:10 – Demnat – 5/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Was returning from a mammoth 32-month absence when running out a 15-length winner at Ludlow 23 days ago. Up 10lb and there has to be a worry that he might ‘bounce’. But he’s the one to beat, if in the same form here.
