A tough month for the service but I’m sure July will be much better. Hopefully we can end June with a winner.
I’m heading to the Curragh and the start of Irish Derby weekend for Friday’s selections.
Curragh
6:05 – Navagio – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection won over C&D last May and was back to winning ways when beating five rivals at Limerick 16 days ago. The first time cheekpieces he wore last time are retained and even off an 8lb higher mark looks a big player.
7:50 – Semblance Of Order – 13/2 @ Bet365 – Semblance Of Order has improved for the step into handicap company. Finishing a head 2nd of 15 on handicap debut (7f) here two starts back before appreciating the step up to a mile and the fitting of the first time blinkers when winning at Leopardstown 8 days ago. Today’s furlong longer distance should suit the 3-year-old who was strong at the finish last time and a 3lb rise looks more than workable.
