Today’s selections are from Ludlow and Southwell.
Ludlow
3:00 – Ree Okka – 11/10 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A promising 2 ¼ length 2nd of 4 to Doctor Ken on his Aintree chase debut could never got competitive at Exeter next time. He should be suited by the step up to 3m +, won at 3m over hurdles at Kempton last January. Hopefully he will be ridden from the front here and remains capable of better over fences.
Southwell
6:45 – Eligible – 15/8 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Made it 2-2 over C&D when coming from behind to win three weeks ago. Nudged up 5lb for that success but he had a bit in hand at the finish that day and should be up to defying his rise in the weights if gets the race run to suit once more.
