Today’s selections are from Brighton & Thirsk.
Brighton
4:00 – Antiphon – 13/2 @ Coral – The selection’s sole visit to Brighton resulted in a handicap win (5 ½ f) 12 months ago. The 4-year-old bounced back to form when 2 length 3rd of 13 in the Fitzdares Sprint Series Final at Windsor on Monday. Drops a couple of notches in class here and a reproduction of his latest effort would see him go close.
Thirsk
4:10 – Le Beau Garcon – 3/1 @ Coral – Is on a losing run of 11 but otherwise there’s plenty to like about his chance. The 4-year-old is a sprinter in form and has had the recency of run. He posted close to personal best in the first time visor when a nose 2nd of 9 over C&D 6-days ago. Off the same mark here and nicely treated if stall 2 doesn’t prove an inconvenience.
