Monday Selections – July 10th 2023

Hi all,

Today’s selections are from Ayr and Ripon.

Ayr

4:40 – Judgement Call – 5/1 @ Bet365 & Coral – A won over C&D in May and hasn’t been disgraced in better races on his last two starts and is back in Class 5 company today. Provided the ground isn’t too soft he should give his backers a good run for their money.

5:15 – The Caltonian – 7/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Put in a much improved performance when a ½ length 2nd of 9 on handicap debut over C&D 16 days ago. Lightly raced he’s been nudged 1lb but must have a good chance of gaining a first career success.

Ripon

7:55 – Coverdale – 7/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Completed a handicap hat trick when winning at Haydock 26 days ago. Up 4lb and takes on older rivals here but he hasn’t been winning his races by big margins. I think he could be capable of a bit better and hopefully he remains one step ahead of the handicapper.
