Today’s selections are from the Curragh.
Curragh
3:40 – You Send Me – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Has only had four career starts and is having her first start since finishing 6th of 10 in last season’s Irish 1,000 Guineas. The filly won first time up last season so should be fit enough on her seasonal return, handles the ground, and looks capable of better as a 4-year-old.
5:10 – Merisi Diamond – 7/2 @ Bet365 – Improved to comfortably win a heavy ground handicap (7f) here at the end of last season. First start today for new trainer Martin Brassil. The drop back to 6f shouldn’t be an inconvenience on what’s likely to be testing ground and even an 11lb higher mark shouldn’t stop the 5-year-old if he’s ready to roll on return to action.
