Today’s selections are from Doncaster and Kelso.
Doncaster
3:10 – Gaye Legacy – 7/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Has been progressive stepped up to around 3m in handicap company this season and posted a career best on RPR’s when beating 15 rivals at Newbury 39 days ago. Up in grade here but she’s suited by some ease in the ground and could be the answer here.
Kelso
1:42 – The Kalooki Kid – 3/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Nicky Richards saddled Famous Bridge to in this in 2022 and has a big contender in the selection. This 6-year-old secured victory on his second attempt over hurdles and followed up at Newcastle. Not disgraced when a 7-length 4th of 5 to Jeriko Du Reponet at Doncaster in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Doncaster last time. Looks on a competitive mark for his handicap debut.
3:25 – Thunder Rock – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Thunder Rock is better suited to small field races and demonstrated a return to form with a strong 2-length second to Corrigeen Rock in a handicap chase at Musselburgh (2m 4f) last time. Doing his best work at the finish that day. Granted he’s got to prove his stamina for three miles but looks worth a go in this company.
