Today’s selections are from Ascot and Punchestown.
Ascot
2:05 – Theatre Glory – 5/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection is a smart mare on her day who gained a fifth career success when winning a Warwick Listed race in February. The drying ground is a big plus and I think she can make a winning seasonal return here.
2:40 – Miss Milano – 4/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A likeable mare who landed a handicap hurdle hat trick last season and she was in the process of going close before a mistake two out on her seasonal return at Wetherby last month. She made a bad mistake two out that day but rallied and finished here race off well to finish a 3 ½ length 4th of 6.
Punchestown
1:23 – Churchstonewarrior – 8/1 @ Bet365 – A Grade 2 novice chase winner at Navan last seen in February. Despite giving weight to six promising novices. I believe that if he’s ready to roll for his seasonal reappearance, he has a good chance of going close and appeared to be overpriced.
