Today’s selections are from Wolverhampton & Dundalk.
Wolverhampton
7:00 – Caracristi – 12/1 @ Paddy Power & Betfair Sportsbook – A dual C&D winner with the latest of those successes coming in March. She’s struggled since that success but seemed backed to form last time when a 1 ½ length 4th of 12 over C&D 15 days ago and is 7lb below her last winning mark.
7:30 – Phantasy Mac – 5/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The filly was a five time winner last season including two successes over C&D. No wins in 2023 and has been more miss than hit in 2023. Not a bad effort when 3rd of 6 at Chelmsford 15 days ago and is now 6lb below her last winning mark. No surprise to see her going close.
Dundalk
7:45 – Benavente – 7/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Ended a two year long losing run when successful here (1m) 14 days ago. That was just the 5-year-old’s third start for his new yard. Up 4lb for his latest win and races beyond a mile for the first time. If he stays today’s 1m 2f trip he’s a major player.
