Today’s selections are from Ayr, and Newbury.
Ayr
1:15 – Revich – 4/1 @ Bet365 – Won this corresponding race and was a ½ length third last year. A winner at Chester in May the 7-year-old was back to form when a 2 length 3rd of 12 to Master Zoffany back at Chester 21 days ago. Has nothing in hand of the handicapper off 95 but likely to go close.
Newbury
5:00 – Bodorgan – 6/1 @ Coral – A good winner on an easy surface as a juvenile at Newmarket last season. Shaped with promise on his seasonal reappearance when 5th of 11 in the valuable Silver Bowl Handicap at Haydock. Two underwhelming runs on quick ground but he bounced back to form when a 2 length 3rd of 13 at Haydock last month. The return to softer ground looks ideal and I think he can return to winning ways here.
