Today’s selections are from Ascot, Newmarket, and York.
Ascot
2:25 – Cadeau Belle – 5/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection comes into the race in form having won her last two starts and goes on soft ground. She looked like a nice prospect when winning a Navan Listed race last month. Looks well worth her place in Group company in what looks a very winnable race.
Newmarket
3:25 – Sharp Power – 13/2 @ Bet365 & Coral – Has improved for the drop back to 6f winning his last two starts at Windsor and Wolverhampton 18 days ago. Up 7lb for his latest success and a couple of notches in class here but Conor Planas takes off 5lb which at least negates the weight rise. Yard among the winners and the hat trick bid could be on.
York
5:45 – Sunny Orange – 15/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A winner on racecourse debut when trained by Ralph Beckett. He’s yet to win since joining Tim Easterby at the end of last season but he’s been in decent enough form and was a good 4 ¼ length 4th of 12 here over a mile last time. Drop back to 7f looks a good move and he’s got a decent chance.
