Today’s selections are from day two of Royal Ascot.

2:30 – Out Of The Stars – 10/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Lost many lengths at the start but still came through to win on her racecourse debut at Kempton in April. She was odds on last time which shows she’s highly regarded. The first time cheekpieces have been fitted which will hopefully allow her to get off on level terms. Capable of significant progress and full sibling won on quick ground in America.
4:20 – My Prospero – 7/2 @ Ladbrokes & Paddy Power – Finished ½ length behind Bay Bridge and nose behind Adayar when third in last season’s Champion Stakes over C&D. The 4-year-old had earlier in the season finished a short head third to Coroebus in the St James’s Palace Stakes. There was plenty to like about his seasonal reappearance effort when a 2 ½ length 4th of 12 to Modern Games in the Lockinge Stakes (1m). He got outpaced 2f out but was doing his best work at the finish that day, and the return to 1m 2f looks a big plus.
