3:25 – Coverdale – 5/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection improved for the step into handicaps for the first time when a neck 2nd of 15 at Pontefract on his final start of 2022. Has been gelded since his last start and should be suited by the step up to 1m 2f on his seasonal return.
4:30 – Show Compassion – 9/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Trainer Michael Dods has made a slow start the season and is 1 winner from 36 runners in the past 14-days. But there have been signs in the past few days that things are about to turn. That makes the selection of interest in this 5f handicap. The filly posted a career best on her third turf start when a 3 ¼ length 4th of 10 at Pontefract 10-days ago. That was a back to form effort and she warrants serious consideration.
