Thursday’s selections are from Cheltenham.
Cheltenham
2:05 – La Domaniale – 3/1 @ Ladbrokes – Won three times last summer on good ground and returned from 7 month shaping like the race was needed when 4th of 5 at Warwick last month. The ground would have been plenty soft for the 7-year-old last time and back on a sound surface and with that run her belt looks the one to beat.
3:15 – Gazette Bourgeoise – 11/2 @ Ladbrokes – Twice a winner over hurdles last season on a sound surface. The 7-year-old is a maiden after five starts over fences but a reproduction of her 7 length 4th of 10 here over 2m 4 ½ f, from 7lb higher, would see her competitive here. The 7-year-old is down to her last winning mark over hurdles and looks worth another ago back at 3m 1f having failed to stay over an extended 3m 6f at Exeter last time.
