Today’s selections are from Lingfield and Newcastle.
Lingfield
3:00 – Crimson Sand – 9/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A dual course winner, including over the distance. The selection posted a career best on RPR’s when a head 2nd of 8 at Chelmsford in July. First run for 243-days and has since switched yards. He’s gone well fresh in the past, beaten a head after a 117-day break last year and won off a 162-day break in 2021. Drawn out widest of the 11 runners isn’t ideal but he’s weighted to go close.
Newcastle
5:45 – Masham Moor – 9/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – The selection ticks, the boxes marked course, distance, and surface. He’s placed on his last two starts including a respectable 2 ¾ length 3rd of 12 over C&D 17-days ago. The 6-year-old is back down to his last winning mark and should be in the shake-up.
