Today’s selections are from Musselburgh and Newbury.
Musselburgh
3:55 – Hard Iron – 6/4 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Completed a handicap hurdle hat trick at Catterick (good) 16-days ago. Proved his stamina for 3m that day and although he’s been raised 7lb I think there could be a bit more to come from the 7-year-old.
Newbury
3:35 – Flying Nun – 100/30 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Twice a hurdle winner at around this time last year. The mare hasn’t been quite at her best on three starts this season but she’s now within 3lb of her last winning mark and can go close here if handling today’s forecast good to firm ground.
