7:30 – Lightship – 4/1 @ Bet365 & Paddy Power – The 4-year-old showed glimmers of ability on both starts when trained in Ireland and on stable debut for Kevin Philippart De Foy when a 5¾ length 4th of 10 at Lingfield last month. Can do better going handicapping for the first time.
8:00 – Sleeping Lion – 8/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Won last year’s renewal but hasn’t been seen since finishing a well beaten 10th of 12 Earlofthecotswolds on All-Weather Final’s Day at Newcastle in April. He’s another very much in the mix if ready roll after a long layoff.
