Today’s selections are from Ascot and Dundalk.
Ascot
3:50 – Getalead – 2/1 @ Sky Bet – Is another seeking the hat trick and found plenty for pressure when winning at Warwick just 2-days ago. Both wins have come on good ground and he can race off the same mark. The one to beat, if turning out so quickly but could have had a hard race last time.
Dundalk
6:00 – Annabelle Rock – 17/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – A decent handicapper in the right grade. First start today since running below her best form on turf and here in the spring. Goes well fresh and a reproduction of her neck 2nd of 14 over C&D, back in February, off 6lb higher would see her go close.
6:30 – Newgirlintown –7/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Put in a career best effort when a head 2nd of 10 over C&D last week. The mare has yet to win on her four starts at Dundalk but has now finished runner-up on three starts here. Up 1lb here but Colin Keane books which is a positive.
