Good to see jumps racing back today with Warwick passing yesterday’s inspection. I have selections from Warwick & Kempton.
Warwick
3:40 – Huntsmans Jog – 5/1 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Battled on well to win a tactical affair at Exeter two starts back. Almost ran to that level when 4th of 12 at Ascot 46-days ago. Sharper track will suit and on the evidence of his Ascot run should be suited by the step up to 3m 2f. Needs the first time cheekpieces to eke out the bit of improvement required to win this but if they do, he can take this.
4:40 – Miss Heritage – 9/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Has finished runner-up on her last three starts, including being beaten ½ length by recent Doncaster winner Miranda at Ludlow in December. Goes very well on heavy ground and can be expected to run her race here for a yard that has done well with its runners here in the past.
Kempton
7:30 – Asdaa – 9/2 @ Coral & Ladbrokes – Mark Johnson has his runners in great form – 6 winners from 21 runners 29% in the past 14-days. The selection is on a good mark based on his form in the early part of 2020. Just caught in the final few strides at Wolverhampton when last seen in action 67-days ago. Returns from a short break here and can go well.
